Perry County Historical Society Announces Plans for Bicentennial Book
If you haven’t already heard, Perry County is turning 200 years old in 2021!
As a part of the commemoration, the historical society is compiling a Bicentennial Book, and we need your help!

Perry County German Heritage Digitization Event
Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 108 S. Progress Drive in Perryville, MO
The event is FREE, but registration is required. Interested parties should register here or contact Caitlin Yager at 314-781-9660 or email@example.com. You will select an appointment time between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. and describe up to three items that you would like digitized. After check-in that day, there will be a room where your items will be photographed, scanned, or both and a room where you will meet with an oral historian who will record the history and your personal connections to these items. After the event, each attendee will receive a flash drive with their photographs, scans, and interviews.
Bring in your letters, clothing, bibles, furnishings, crafts, art, tools, and anything else that shows your German heritage and help get Perry County, Missouri on the German Heritage Corridor Map!
