If you have an interest in genealogy or local/regional history and would like to volunteer to assist our director at the library/archive or work on special projects, please contact us at 573-768-2470. The time you donate to help preserve our county’s history and heritage will be interesting, educational, entertaining and rewarding.

The Perry County Historical Society is an over fifty-year-old non-profit 501(c)3 organization. We rely on membership dues, published book sales and your donations to support our gallant effort to preserve, promote and protect our county history and family heritage for generations to come.

Book & Artifact Donations
We accept donations of books and artifacts for our Research Library and the Perry County Museum. Please contact the Director, if you are interested in donating items.
Grave Flower Form
The Perry County Historical Society is now taking orders from members and families of loved ones buried in any cemetery located in Perry County to have a modest flower bouquet delivered and placed at the appropriate cemetery and grave by a Historical Society member.
